Terms of Service

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Overview

This website, annalisasaylor.com, is operated by Sublimity. Throughout these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sublimity. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the platform used to offer our products and services.

These Terms of Service describe the conditions for using our website and purchasing from us. Please read them alongside our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.

By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

Using the website

To place an order, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement and be authorized to use the payment method provided.

You agree to provide accurate and current contact, billing, and shipping information. If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your access details and notifying us of suspected unauthorized use.

You may not use the website for unlawful purposes, submit fraudulent orders, infringe the rights of others, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the website’s operation.

Products and descriptions

We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Screen settings and lighting may affect how colors and details appear.

Handcrafted jewelry may have small variations in finish, texture, and form. Gemstones may also vary in color, pattern, and inclusions. These characteristics do not excuse a material difference from the product description or affect your rights if a piece is defective or incorrect.

Please review each listing for its materials, dimensions, sizing, stone details, availability, and production timeframe. Measurements and carat weights identified as approximate are estimates.

Product availability is subject to change. One-of-a-kind pieces are limited to the item described, and made-to-order pieces are produced according to the options selected and the details stated in the listing.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website and at checkout. Applicable shipping charges, taxes, and any other charges collected by us are displayed before you submit your order.

Prices and promotions may change for future purchases. A later price change does not change the agreed price of an existing order.

Payment is due when an order is placed unless a separate written payment schedule has been agreed upon for a custom commission.

Order review and corrections

We may need to contact you about availability, an apparent pricing or description error, incomplete information, or a payment or fraud concern.

If a material correction affects your order, we will explain the issue and any proposed change. We will not charge an additional amount or substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

If we cannot fulfill an order and cancel it, payment collected for the canceled items and any associated shipping charges will be refunded.

Made-to-order jewelry

Made-to-order jewelry is produced within the timeframe stated on its product page. That timeframe includes production, final finishing, and packing before dispatch. Carrier transit time is additional.

Please confirm your selected size, metal, and other options carefully. If you need to request a change, contact us promptly. Whether a change is possible depends on the stage of production. Any additional cost or revised timing will be discussed before proceeding.

Custom commissions

Custom commissions are quoted individually. The design, materials, price, estimated timeline, and any project-specific terms will be confirmed in writing.

A 50% deposit is due once the design is approved. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before shipment.

Changes requested after approval may affect the price and timeline. Any revised scope, charges, or timing must be agreed upon before the additional work proceeds.

If a project involves a client-owned stone or an existing piece of jewelry, suitability and the proposed work must be reviewed before the project is accepted. Please do not send stones or jewelry without prior instructions from the studio.

Custom, engraved, personalized, and individually altered pieces are final sale for change-of-mind returns, as explained in our Return and Refund Policy. This does not limit rights relating to defects, incorrect items, or other remedies required by law.

Cancellation requests

To request cancellation, contact sublimityjewelry@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number. Change-of-mind cancellation requests depend on the order’s status and any project-specific terms agreed before payment.

For custom commissions, any cancellation charges or treatment of the deposit must be set out in the written commission agreement before payment. These terms do not establish a blanket non-refundable deposit policy.

Cancellation rights provided by applicable law remain unaffected.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping rates, preparation times, and delivery information are described in our Shipping Policy and the relevant product listing.

If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will notify you and provide the option to agree to a revised shipping date or cancel for a refund of the unshipped merchandise, as required by applicable law.

Requests for rush production or expedited shipping must be discussed before ordering. Faster shipping does not shorten production time unless a separate rush schedule has been agreed upon.

If a shipment is missing, damaged, or marked delivered but cannot be located, please contact us so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Returns and exchanges

Eligibility, request deadlines, item condition, and return instructions are set out in our Return and Refund Policy. Please contact us before sending an item back.

Jewelry-specific return terms do not automatically apply to apparel or other product categories. Any category-specific terms must be clearly disclosed before purchase, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Care and adjustments

Follow the care and wearing guidance provided with your jewelry or on its product page. Contact the studio before arranging resizing, repairs, or alterations so we can discuss suitable options and any associated costs.

Damage caused by misuse, accidental impact, or an unrelated third-party alteration is different from a manufacturing defect. Any concern will be considered according to its circumstances and applicable law.

Website content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise credited, website photographs, text, graphics, logos, and other original materials belong to Sublimity or are used with permission.

You may browse and use the website for personal shopping and reference. Commercial reproduction or use of protected content requires permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.

Purchasing a product does not transfer intellectual property rights in its design, photographs, or related website materials.

Reviews and submitted materials

Reviews and other content submitted for public display must be truthful and must not infringe another person’s rights or contain unlawful or abusive material. By submitting a review for publication, you permit us to display it in connection with the store.

Sending a private inquiry, design reference, personal story, or photograph does not by itself grant permission for us to publish it for marketing. We will request permission before using identifiable private submissions for that purpose.

Third-party services and links

The website uses third-party services, including Shopify and payment providers, and may link to external websites. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not control independent external websites. This does not remove our responsibility for fulfilling purchases made from Sublimity or for obligations that apply to us under law.

Privacy

Our collection, use, and sharing of personal information are explained in our Privacy Policy. Please use the privacy controls available on the website or contact us with a privacy request.

Website availability and liability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website. This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these terms disclaims statutory product warranties, excuses a failure to supply goods as described, or limits mandatory consumer remedies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California and applicable United States federal law, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. If you live elsewhere, you retain any mandatory consumer protections applicable to your purchase.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services or practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with its update date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.

Changes will not retroactively alter the agreed terms of an existing order without your agreement, except where required by law.

Other provisions

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.

These terms, the policies linked above, and any project-specific written agreement govern the relevant purchase or service. An expressly agreed custom commission term takes priority for that project where it differs from these general terms, subject to applicable law.
